IN pursuance of the 'Pooret of the Court of
Equity made in this case, I will offer
for sale at public auction, at Winnsboro
South uarolina, on Monday, the 3d day o
December next, (being the $rst Monday in
that month) several T HOU8AND ACRES o:
the finest COTTON and GRAIN LANDS it,
the State, belonging to the estate of Jehn
Harrisop, Sr., deceasei.
These lands are composed of the follow
ing several tracts or plantations, vis :
1. The tract known as the "River Place,"
containing about 8.888 acres, more or less,
lying immediately on the banks of the N a
teree River. This pladtaton contains
about 1200 acros.in original forest; and
several hundred acres of rich river bottoms
now in a high btate of cultivation; and has
upon it all necessary buildings, &c. It is
decidedly one of the best cotton altd grain
plantations in the Southern country.
2. The tract known as the "Dutchman's
Creek Place," containing 2,482 acres, more
or loss. This tract is also a No. 1, cotton
and grain plantation,.with a largo creelk
running through it, and bas upon it all no
cessary buildings-for laborers. stock. &o
8. The tract known as the "Bryant
Place," containing 646 acres more or less.
On this place is a very comfortable dwelling
house, with a number of out-houses, &o.
4. The tract known as the "Sandhill or
Home Place." containing 808 acres, more or
less. Most of this place is in original
woods, and is a high and healthy place, and
is the homestead of the late John Harrison,
6. The tract known as the "Concord
Church Place," containing 160 acres, more
or less. Nearly the whole of this tract is
covered with a thick growth of the very
largest and finest long leaf pines, particu.
larly. suited to Railroad purposes, shingles,
or anything which is made from pine tim
ber; and it liee within two miles of the
Ridgeway Depot on the Charlotte and
South Carolina Railroad, with a good,
level wagon road leading thereto.
0. The tract known as the "Salt, Pond
Racetrack." containing 100 acres.
The terrms of Sale are as follows: The
puvehaser of the "River Place" will be re
quired to pay the sum of six hundred dol.
lars, and one-sixth of the amount for which
it sells, add its proportiontte.share of the
costs and expenses of the.ankand sale IN
CASH ; and for the balance a:oredit will be
given until'the 1st of January 1808, with
interest thereon from the. lt of January
1867, at whit h time possession will be given.

For all the other tracts, onet. sixth of the
amount at which they are bid off, together
with so much us may be necessary to aid
the "River P'lace"in-defraying the costs and
