Umnpbell is a widow, about seventy

bers, is also a widow, aged ibout
thirty-six. The vast property which
timy hifavo inhorited belongs to the
RlInuauilclau estate. Informiation in
regard to it was received by them
about three iouths since, and by the
advice of a gentleman in Madison,
onei: a h.w -partner of the Hon. Judah
P. BHnijsamin, thoy at once wroto to
the latte r at London, asking him what
course to pursue in the matter. Mr.

and Mrs. Chambers that thero was

in regard to their claim, and adv-ised
them to come on to Europe at once.
The property descends to those ladies
through a Mrs. Renauleau, grand
mother of'Mrs. Cawpdell, and great.
grandmother of Mrs. Chambers. Mrs.

that a party who once resided in the

succeeded in marrying one of the fe
inal n members of it. ie then pro.
setited proofs of the death of all of
tihe American and ne-arer branches of
tho family, and claimed the estate fur
the distant branch into which hto had
mnarried. Mr. Benjamin, in hik let

find out that the dead can be reaur

between Mr. Ben.ialuan and the two
ladies, the former will tako

million dollars, will then fall to Mrs.
Campbell and Mrs. Chambers, the
hbare of eaoh being the neat littlo

M millhons and a half are in the
bank of France, and four millions and
.f half are in the hands of the Roths
'ehils, the Ce!ebrated bankers. M rs.

herself to Europe. They will be a

identifying them. They will also
carry papers signed by old1 citizens of
Augusta, pinuvoing their identity.
