FOB HS WEEK INDINO THURSDAY, J CHE 29.
THE CROPS.-The season during the week just
closed bas been extremely warm, with a partial
absence of rain, and bas beeu In all respects good
cotton wea* her; but while the general intelli?
gence, particularly from the Interior of the State,
has been favorable, reports come from sections of
damage from past unfavorable conditions and uv
ability from too much rain to work the crop at
the proper time. The crop of corn np to this pe?
riod promises well.
THX RECEIPTS.-The arrivals at the cotton
ports for the week np to Friday last ware 22,664
bales, again st 24,046 bales the week before, and
12,847 bales fir the time last season. At New Or?
leans the receipts were 7861 bales, In contrast
with 3772 bales for the week of the year before.
The total supplies at the cotton ports from Sep?
tember l, 1870, np to the litest mail dates, were
3,S63,072 bales, la contrast with 2,818,688 bales
the season previous, showing an increase of
1,044,484 .bales. The receipts at the principal
Southern markets, from September 1,1870, np to
the latest telegraphic intelligence, as compared
with the year before, were as follows:

thia time were as.follows: On Friday, Jane 23, the

the latter was strong at 20j?c, sales 1213 bale?.
On Saturday .the former was steady, uplands
8)?d, Bales 12,000 bales; the latter was duli and
nominal at 20x0, Bales 744 bales. On Monday
the former was quiet and steady, uplands 8>?d,
sales 12,000 bales; the latter was dull, and J?c *

this quality of the staple, the crop being about all
lo market. Toe Inquiry, which was light, was
restricted to Florida qialltles, about 55 bags of

35,16 at 37,16 at 38. Quotations nominal. -
-RICK.-There were no receipts of Carolina
rough worthy of note. There has been a llmlt^a
business doing in this grain, the market ^ing
generally quiet, hut without Important change,

NATAL STORKS.-Tue supplies of these articles
coming forward were to a limited extent, and
amounted to abont 1600 bbls of ali hinds for this
time. Rosins have been In steady request, with
sales of abont 2000 bbls. Spirits of turpentine ?as
been quiet, and about 400 bbls changed hands.

Wednesday, June 28, sales of rosin 283 bbls; pale
rosin at $5 50@5 75, opaque and dull at $8, Ko 2 ht
$2 25, and 225 bbls No 2 and extra No 2 on private
terms. 84 bbls spirits sold at 40c fl gall: n. Thurs?
day, June 29. The market was quiet and without
sales of any importance.
HAY.-The supplies of this article have been
liberal, and were about looo bales of North River
qot JUles, and 300 bales Eastern. There has been
a moderate Jobbing trade, at about $l sogn 60 ft
hundred, for North River qualities.
CORN.-The arrivals of this grain were fair, Bay
about 16,000 bushels, from Baltimore,- Virginia
and North Carolina. A moderate inquiry pre?
vailed for city and country consomption, and
limited lots of prime white were sold at about
$1 OS fl bushel, sacks Included. Some ISOO bush?
els of prime white were sold at $l 05 ft bushel,
sacks lacladed.
OATS-There have been received about 1200
bushels of this grain, from Philadelphia. There
were no wholesale transactions.
PEAS.-The demand is light, and we quote clay
