The Common Coun? cils have i> 1,-pted resolutions, in a spirit of humility, that tho Mayor, Aldermen and Commonalty request the Government of Canada to pardon Lynch and his asso? ciates, and that the President bo requeste d to write and ask tho samo favor. Tho Berlin correspondence of thc Tribune says that on the 7th the Chief Surgeon of the Prussian army left for Biarritz, to con? sult with the physicians of Napoleon on the possibibty of an operation. A despatch has been received from thc Prussian Embassy at Paris, saying there is no hope for Napoleon-death may be hourly expected. TORONTO, October 27. -John McMahon, another Fenian, was yesterday sentenced to be hung on tho 13th December. MONTREAL, October 27.-The news that Lynch, the Fenian, has been sentenced to death, causes much discussion herc. An? other large lot of war material has arrived from England. NEW ORLEANS, October 27.-lt is report? ed oh good authority that Governor Wells will reconvene the constitutional conven? tion of 1861. He says he has assurances from leading members of Congress that be will be sustained by force, if necessary. BUFFALO, October 27.-An appeal is pub? lished in tho morning papers here for a mass meeting of Fenians, on Sunday night. It urges resistance to the execu? tion of the Fenians lately sentenced to death at Toronto. TORONTO, October 27.
