HEAVY DAMAGES AGAINST A RAIL?
ROAD.-Some timo wi thia tho last
two years, "Wesley Thomas, a fireman
on the Mobile anti Ohio Railroad,
was so severely injured by a train
running off tho track that it was
found necessary to amputate his
right arm. His right leg, too, is said
to have been severely scalded by tho
steam which escaped from the loco?
motive. Mr. Thomas instituted a
suit against the railroad company for
damages to the amount, we believe,
of $40,000. Tho Mobile Register sa,ys
the case was decided in the Circuit
Court a few days ago-tho jury
awarding tho complainiut damages to
the amount of $15,000, with 81,000
for medical attendance.
Attempts to raise money in Boston
for the purpose of organizing Union
leagues at the South have not been
successful. Solid men who gave mo?
ney to such objects think that all
agitation and political action in the
South should oe public, in order to
educate the freedmen, by enabling1
them to hear both sides.
Maine papers are horrified at tho
increase of divorces in that State.

THE TRIUMPH OF ART!
MORE TESTIMONY IN FAVOR OF
Heiiiitsh's Queen's Delight.
EXTRACTS FROM LETTERS: "The
Queen's Delight is beginning to
awaken thc attention of our physicians.
Its remarkable curative power is seen in
its wonderful effect upon disease. As a
blood purifier, there is no medicine like it
known to the profession. A gentleman
told mo that bia son has been taking the
Queen's Delight, and is more benefited by
it than by any other medicine. He wants
a dozen bottles."
Extract from a letter: "It is due to yon
to slate in this public manner, in order
that thc people may know the truth, that
I have tried your" Queen's Delight, and
lound it not only what yon said it was-"a
pure medicine "-but the best medicine 1
have ever taken for eruptions and general
Lad health. I had an eruption all over my
body, with impaired digestion and disor?
dered liver, and have tried a great many
medicines without any benefit. I have
taken one bottle ot your Queen's Delight,
the. eruption has disappeared, my appetite
is better, my liver and digestion is im?
proved. 1 am satisfied one or two more
bottles will cure mo."
Extract from a letter: "Af the close of
thc war, my constitution was shattered. I
could not eat, sleep or perform any duty
whatever, such was my prostrate'condi?
tion. Medicine and medical aid I had in
abundance, such was my condition up to a
few months since, when I began the use td
ymir Queen's Delight. I have used two
"bottles, my constitution ;<- greatly im?
proved, my appetite is good, enjoy refresh?
ing eleen, ana am able to perform my share
of daily labor."
Extract from a letter -Wonderful effect
of onlv one bottle: "I have used onlv a
half battle ol' 'Queen's Delight' for boils
and eruptions of the skin and itching hu?
mors of tho blood, which annoyed mo very
much. I am entirely cured. ? think your
modicino a valuable one."
A remarkable casu of liver complaint and
headache cured by the uso ot "Hoinitsh's
Queen's Delight:" A lady of unquestioned
worth and reputation voluntarily gives tes?
timony ol' the wonderful effects of tbiu
medicine. She has been from early years
a martyr to iicadachc-s, caused by imper?
fect action o:' the liver, producing intenso
headache ami pain over tho eyes. .->ho has
taken only four bottles, and "assures ns of
tlie perfect euro it has made. She now en?
joys Kood health.
Still auothor: "During last spring, I had
been troubled with obstinate chills and
fever, which, when cured, left my system
iu a wretched condition, blood impure, and
I was afflicted with an angry, aud, as I at
one time thought, au incurable, cutaneous
eruption ovor my entiro body. The moat
violent remedies suggested railed to work
a oure, until, at tho instance of a friend, I
tried Dr. Hemitsh's Queen's Delight. Less
than two bottles euroli mo, loaring my skin
in a healthy condition. My general health
is as good as over. For such purposes, I
have, ever eiuco my cure, unhesitatingly
recommended your Queen's Delight."
Don't buy any but the right kind. All
genuine Queen's Delight has the copv-right
mark on tho outside, and it ia tho only
medicine which produces these wonderful
cures. For sale wholesale and retail at
