The President and family, Postmaster

sa, for Long Branch.
Internal revenue receipts to-day $700,
000.
The President to-day issued a procla?
mation assigning the 30th of November
for the vote on the constitution adopted
by the Austin, Texas, Convention, on
the loth of june. No exceptional clauses
ate to be voted upon, the votes being for
and against the constitution solely.
The District Attorney and Marshal of
New York have been severally instructed
at any and all hazards to enforce neu?
trality laws and break np expeditions
against Cuba. They are empowered to
call on the army and naval forces to
carry out the law to prevent the depart?
ure of hostile expeditions. Gen. Mc?
Dowell and the admiral in charge of the
New York Navy Yard have been directed
to respond to any call made in pur?
suance of the above instructions.

Sunday was the greut day of the Na?
tional Camp Meeting now in progress at
Bound Lake, N. Y. At noon there were
fully 12,000 people in the camp, while
on the ground there were from 12,000 to
15,000 more who were unable to gain ad?
mittance to the circle. Bishop Simpson
{vreached in the morning to one of the
argest congregations ever assembled to
listen to a sermon. Several female
preachers spoke in different parts of the
grounds. Twenty-two States were rep?
resented in the attendance. The services
will be continued throughout this week.
THE NEXT MEETING OP THE UNITED
STATES GRAND LODGE, I. O. O. F.-The
next annual meeting of the Grand Lodge
Independent Order of Odd-Fellows in
the United States will be held at San
Francisco, California, during the en?
suing month of September. Already
the event is attracting tho attention of
the Order in various portions of the
country, and as the communication with
the place of meeting by rail is now com?
plete, the probabilities are that tho at?
tendance will bo very large.
As several darkies were passing an
