Ayer's Cathartic Pills, for all the Pur?
poses of a Laxative Medicine.
PERHAPS no one
medicino is so univer?
sally required by every
body aa a cathartic,
nor waa evor any be?
fore ao cnivcraally
adopted into uae, in
every country amd
among all classe?, aa
thia mild but efficient
"purgative PILL. The
obvioua reason ie, that
it ia a moro rcliablo and far more effectual
remedy than any other. Those who have
tried it, know that it cured tbem; those who
have not, know that it cures their neighbors
and friends, and all know that what it does
once it does alwaya-that it never fails
through any fault or neglect of its cempoei
tiou. Wc have thousands upon thousands of
certificate- of their remarkable cures of the
following complaints, but euch eurea are
known in every neighborhood, and we need
not publish them. Ad ip ted to all agea and
conditions in all climates; containing neither
calomel or any deleterious drug, they may be
taken with safety by anybody. Their sugar
coating preserves them over freah and makes
them pleasant to take, whilo being pnrely
vegetable no harm can arise from their use in
any quantity.
They operate hy their powerful influence on
the internal vinci ra to purify the blood and
stimulate it into healthy action-remove tho
obstructions of the stomach, bowels, liver and
other organs of the body, restoring their irre?
gular action to health, and by correcting,
wherever they exist, such derangements as are
tho first origin of disease.
Minute directions aro given in the wrapper
on tho box, for the following complainte,
which theac PILLS rapidly enre:
For Dyspepsia or Indigestion. Listlessness,
Languor and Loss of Appetite, they should be
taken moderately to stimulate the stomach
and restore it? healthy tono and action.
For Liter Complaint and its various symp?
t?me, Rilious Uea?acbe, Sick Headache, jaun?
dice or Green Sickness, I'ilious Colic and Hi
lious Fever?, they should be judiciously taken
for each case, te) correct the diseased action
or remove thc obstruct:.?na which cause it.
For Dytenterry or IHarrhaa, but ono mild
dose is generally required.
For Rheumatism, Gout, Gr?ci l, Palpitation
of the Heart, Pain in the Side, Hack and Loins,
they should be continuously taken, as re
quired, to change the diseased action of the
system. With such chango those complaints
disappear.
For Dropsy and Dropsical Swellings, they
should bo take n in large and frequent doses
to produce tho effect of a drastic purge.
l or Suppression a large dose should be
taken, as it produces the desired effect by
sympathy.
"AH a Dinner Pill, take one or two PW? to
promote digestion and relievo the stomach.
An occasional dose stimulates the stomach
and bowels into healthy action, restores the
appetite, and invigorates the system. Heneo
it is often advantageous where no serious ele
rangement exists. Ono who feel? tolerably
woll, often Uriels that a dose of these J'ills
makes him feel decidedly better, from their
cleansing and renovating effect on the digestivo
apparatus.
