THE UNITED STATES MINT AT PHILA

United States mint for the month of No?
vember, amounted to $280,190.64, and
of silver $111,030.24-total deposits
?391,225.88. The coinage in the same
time was 9803,000 in double eagles, and
$49,866 in fine gold bars; $152,800 in
silver, dollars and half dollars, and
$31,500 in fino silver bars, and of the
bas? nickol and bronze coinage $81.820.
The coinage for the month van of tho
vale*,ot .540,620, covering 2,551,000
pieces. The business pf the mint has
sunk into insignificance compared with
what it was ten years ago.
