AWFUL FATE or A YOUNG MAN.-A
young mao, while intoxicated, fell into
the machinery nt tho rolling mill nt
Scranton, Pa. The engineer heard the
.grinding of tho bones, and. supposing
the cogs were mashed, stopped the eu
gine immediately. As ho did so, the
lood, like fine rain, name drizzling down
'with little pieces of flesh. The men suw
something flying through the air, whiuh
they thought was a cloth from thu en?
gine, but which was the unkuown being,
thrown somo forty feet from tho wheel,
lauding on tho top of a furnace, where it
was fonnd broiling, burning and disfi?
gured. The namo of the unfortunate
yoong man was J.tmes F. Vesey.
