RICHMOND, January 10.-The Supreme
Court of Appeals has dcoided that a per?
son incarcerated for a tax debt to the
State cannot be released by any process
until the debt is paid. The lower Court
had decided tho Act imprisoning debtors
for revenuo tax unconstitutional. The
Supreme Court reversed this decision,
and remanded Andrew J. Bryan, who
owes the State. S3.OOO tax debt, to prison
