The committee recommended tho bid
in the aggregate of $250 per annum, be
accepted. On motion of Alderman
Carroll, it was adopted.
The Committee on Alms House, to
whom was referred the communication
of Overseer of Poor, asking the city to
pnrohase a cow for use of Alms House,
recommended that a cow be purchased
by committee at a price not to exceed
$50. On motion of Alderman Wilder,
it was adopted.
On motion of Alderman Carpenter,
