Eaton Ohio. A 1IUU1AN LIFE SAVED! Dowagiac, Mieh., March U. 185S. J. A. RUODKd, Esq.: Dear Sir As I took yoar medicine to sell ou consignment, "no cure, no pay," I take pleasure iu slatiug its effects as reported to me by three brothers who live in this place, and their testimony ii afairspeciuienuf all I have received: W. S. Comkun told mo "Ihad taken nincbot tles of Christie's Ague Halsam, and continually run down while using it tintil my lungsand liver were Congested to tiiat degree, that blood dis charged from my mouth and bowels, so that all thought it impossible for me to live through an other chill. The doctors too, did all they could for me, but thought I must die. Nothing did me any good until I got Rhodes' Fever and Agus Cure, which at once relieved me of the distress and nausea at my stoimchc, and pain in my head and bowels, and produced a permanent cure iu a short time.' H. M. CokimS says: " I had been taking med icine of as good a doctor as wo have in ourcouii ty, and taken anv quantity of quinine and speci fics without any good result, from 2Dth August to 18th December. Uut Bceiug hoar nicely it op erated on my brother. I got a bottle of RHODES' FEVER AXD AGUE CURE, which ed'ecU'd a permanent cure by using two-thirds of a bottle." S. 41. Coxklm was not hero, but both the other brothers say his case was the same as il. M's, I sold the medicine to both the same day, and the euro was as speedy from the same small quantity and I might so specify. Yours with respect, A UUNT1XGT0X. The above speaks for itself. Good proof as it is, it is of no better tenor than the vast number of like certificates I have already published, aud the still greater amount Uiat is continually pour ing in to me. One thing more. L?st year I had occasion to Caution the Public in these words: 'Jnotict on firm who have 'Jaken one of my general cireulan, substituted the name of their nostrum for my medicine, and then with brazen impudence end their pamphlet with the exclama tion, 'Let the proprietor of any other medicine tay an much if he dare ,' " &0. Now I tako pleasure in saying that the caution referred to the same "Dr. Christie's Ague Hal sam" that is mentioned in the above certificate. There are several other iudustrious people who are applying to their poisououR trash all that I publishabout my Fever and Ague Cure, or Anti dote to Malaria, except the certificates of cures, ond the certificate of the celebrated Chemist .Dr James R. Chilton, of N. Y..in favor of its perfect ly HARMLESS CHARACTER, which is attach ed to every bottle. Thesewill always serve to distinguish my medicine from imitation. JAd. A. RHODES, Proprietor.
