ST The remains of the Rev. Jams Msaouii,
rnr several sears Pastor of St. Patriok's
Church In this city, arrived here yesterday af
ternoon, having been brought from Mendota,
Illinois, by the American Express Company
iree of charge. The remains were conveyed
from the Depot, to St. Patrick's Churob, fol
lotred by a large procession of the members of
the congregation and other citizens. Last even
log, the solemn office for the dead was perform
ed at the Church, whore the remains were ly

and a fnneral sermon preached at the Churoh,
in the pretence of a large assembly, that bad
gathered to pay the last sad tribute of respect
to the remains of one who In life was beloved
a christian pastor, and admireu far many no

the Catholic.cemetry near St. Patrrck's Church
