plague of wolves, no less than half a mill
ion of these animals being estimated to
exist in France at the present moment.
The damage inflicted by these creatures
in their noctnral raids "from forest and
mountain is estimated at about 50,000,

is proposed to place a high price on the
head of each wolf as high as 200
