daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney
Williams, has about recovered from
the effects of an operation for an
infected gland of the neck, perform
ed last week by Dr. Griffith, of Ow
ensboro. ' The operation was com
pletely successful and will leave
no scar.
A library for the seventh , and

school has been established. Any
person having books they desire to
donate, are requested to notify Mrs.
S. O. Keown or any seventh or
eighth grade pupil. Suitable books
will be most thankfully received
