The head and tail wcro drooping; and from the mouth was protruding the larger portion of a man labelled "Will iam Allen " Tho rooster was evi dently making fraotio efforts to dis gorge tbe remainder; but evidently old Hill's boots had stuck fast about its tonsils, and henco the troublo. Along tbe ncck wero tho words, "Rise up," and tbo noblo bird was evidently doing its level bost to make him rise. It baa stood the test of years, with a con* stantly growing reputation, ba.?ed on its intrinsic virtues, and sustained by its remarkable cures. So mild as to be safe and heueticial to children, and yet so searching as to effectually puree out the great corrup tions of the blood, such as the scrof ulous and svphilitic contamination. Impurities or diseases that have lurked in the system for rears soon yield to this powerful antidote, and disappear. Ifonce its wonderful cures, many of which are publicly known, of Scronila, and all scrofulous diseases, Ulcers, Eruptions and eruptive disorders of the .<kin, Tumors, Blotches, Boils* Pimples, Pustules, Sores, St. Anthony's Fire, Rose or Ery sipelas. Tetter, Salt llheura. Scald Head, Ringworm, and in ternal Ulcerations of tlie Uterus, Stomach, and Liver. It also curca other complaints, to which it would not seem especially adapted, such as Drop sy, Dyspepsia, Fits, Neuralgia, Heart Disease, Female Weak ness, Debility, and Lcucorrhceo, when they are manifestations of tho scrofulous poisons. It is an excellent restorer of health and strength in the Spring. By renew ing the appetite and vigor of the diges tive organs, it dissipates the depression and listless languor of tlie season. Even where no disorder appears, people feel better, and livo longer, for cleansing tlie blood. The system moves on with renawed vigor and a new Icaso of lifu. PREPARED BY Dr. J. C.
