Miss Ella Kuhlxnan is spending a few days in Edgewood. Mrs. Loren Davis of Rochester, is visiting relatives in this vicinity. Miss Nelle Smith was in Edgewood last week to attend the funeral of a cousin. Mrs. Ralph Jenny is in Oelwein at the home of her parents. Many friends will be interested to know of the recent marriage of Miss Eva Pitzpatrick and Lee Duncan.both of Strawberry Point. They have bought a restaurant and located in Monona. Married at the liome of the bride's parents, Thursday of last week, Mr. Claude Lillibridge and Miss Eva Law rence. They departed the same ev ening fc'r a visit with the groom's father in Willow Springs, Mo. Frank Miller and family were Sun day visitors at the Louie Nieder— frank home in Earlville. Jas. Watt is enjoying a visit from his mother of Randalia. Mrs. A. Lillibridge was able to be dressed for the first time since her illness, on Tuesday, and we are pleas ed to state she has regained her usual health. Mrs. Wm. Ingles was called to Dur ango, Monday, by the death of her brother. Win. Rutherford, wife and baby were Sunday visitors at the Frank Way home. Messrs. and Me shames W. J. Wroughten and A. C. Marcham were dinner guests at the Clarence House, in Manchester, Sunday. George Hunter and wife mourn the loss of their little babe, who was born on Friday night of last week, and only lived a few hours. Mr. and Mrs. J. Edmunds were Manchester visitors Monday. John Lash and wife and Mrs. Clin ton Colbertson and son were visitors at the Sam Culbertson home Monday. The girls and boys teams of bas ket ball will play in Delhi, Friday night. R. D. Graham and family and the Misses Grove and Wilson were din ner guests at the A. B. Holbert home, Sunday. Holbert sold a car load of horses to Mr. Lavin, of Medevia, Min esota, this week. Mesdames A. B. Holberta and R. D. Giraham attended a luncheon at the home of Mrs. E. H. Fjrod Holbert is attending a sale in Iowa City, from which place hie will go to Des Moines, to attend a conclave and banquet, held at the Savory hotel, given to draft horse breeders.
