iVNE of tho best medicines, probably tho very
J best over prescribed, for tho numerous
aiul distressing ailments known as FEMALE
COMPLAINTS, is Dodd's Nervine and Invigora
tor. Headache. Pain in tho Hack and Limbs,
Palpitation oi tho Heart, Faintness, Loss of
Appetite, lscaring-iiown ram, nosu-auuii oi
Btrengtli, ltetained, Excessive, Irregular or
Painful Meiisus -all yield to its magic power.
For Hysteria, Epilepsy. Mo aneholy, Ac, it is all
but infallible. It is also most valuable to ladies
who are experiencing tho change incident to ad
vanced years, Then it is that constitutional
maladies make their appearanco ,if any bo lurk
ing about tho system, aiid give caste to remain
ing days. Dodd's Nervine and Invigorator great
ly assists nature at mis liujionaiii pei-iuii, iii.iui
taining tho vigor and tranquility of early life,
and carrying them with ease and safety through.
Communicated by a Physician
Semo months ago I was called to attend a
lady of Williamsburgh, N. Y., who had long been
sutiering from troublesome uterine disease Its
presenco was marked by constant vaginal dis
charge, sometimes of a watery consistency and
sometimes creamy nnd muco-purulent. Slio had
been under other treatment for somo time, but
constantly grew worso. Vaginal examination
disclosed extensivo induration and ulceration of
tho cervix uteri. The uterine inllamation, which
win r.viili.ntlv nHHiinilnc a chronic form, was also
aggrovated bv loug-standiiig constipation, pal
pitation of tho heart, night-sweats' cough, poor
appetito, ami almost uany tannings, onu limn
ed to entire insensibility during onu of my liifct
visits. I commenced, of course, by such active
local treatment as tho ulceration demanded,
and then applied myself to a recuperation of the
i'minrnt linulth. It was iiiconvciiicnt to see her
frequently, and except to mark tho healing of
tllO Ulcers, III lUC cany stages, i uiii iili
ly every other week. For tonic and constitution
al invigoraut Dodd's Nervino only was perscrib
ed. 1 had somo timo before becoino acquainted
with its properties, and knew of nothing moro
sate or satlsiaciory in us prouauio encciB. .iyiiu
tho rcbult completely instilled my expectation.
In a fortnight tho bowels had become free
and legular in their movements, tho night
sweats disappeared, and appetito began to grow.
Tho laiuting spells became less Jroquont, and
soon ceased altogother. In anothor fortnight
there was no moro cough, tho vaginal dischargo
was sensibly diminishing, sleep was normal and
refreshing, ond tho general health docidedly im
proved. What remains is soon told, Tho pa
tient continued tho use of (ho Nervino and no
other medicino for somo weoks longer, when
my further attendance was not required. Since
her recovery I havo seen her but onco, Hhe
seems perfectly well, Her joy over restored
health is naturally enough most enthusiastic.
Bho never beforo had a medicino give her such
comfort and such appetito and such sleep
and such courage and such strength. Sho
wouldn't try to koop house again without it. and
eo forth, and so forth. It is my own opinion
that tho Nervino is tho best tonio and corrective
of tho femalo organization that has ovor come
under my obsorvaiion. I shall not fail to con
tinuo its ubo in all similar cases, and the profos
ion know thoy aro numerous enough.
