to-day's stock market was confined to
spots and. the general 'tendency con?
tinue toward a lower plane on ireulizing
?ales. Pressure by the bear traders
was marked. ?nd the outside support
afforded 'by buying orders through com
anission houses was considerably less.
There was a strong tone in the few in?
dividual stocks and advances in others
were brought afbout by marripulation.
