treasurer of Wood county, Ohio, do here
by notify the tax-payers thereof, that the
amount of taxes assessed on the tax du
plicate for the year 1861, for the different
purposes named, is correctly staled in the
above Hbilract ; nlo, the rate of tsxa'ion
showing the number of mills on every dol
lar valuation in each of the twps. snd ircor-
lorated villages of said county, iscorrect
y given in the above table. You are al
so notified that every person charged with
any tax on the f ax d uplicate of 1 06 1 , no w
in my hands, may at his option, instead
of pairg tl o op'ion, insteal of paying
th'i whole amount with which he stands
charged, on or btfore the 20th December,
as heretofore re quired, may pay one-half
of same, p'us all road taxes ami delin
quencies, on or before the 20th December

20th June, 1 862 For Ihe purpose of re
ceiving taxes, I will attend in purpose i r
by deputy at my office, in this place.fiom
now until the 25th day of January, to re

law allows the treasurer a penally of five
per cent, on each del'nquent half, respect
ively after the 20th December and 20th
