The deceased was a man cf the strictest
integrity, and in all the relations of life he
maintained the character of a worthy citizen
and afl'eclimiate husband and father, end n
true friend. He leaves largo family to
mourn his departure.
On the 4th inst., at bis residence, near
Lloydsville, John Shannon, in tho 72J year
of his age.
On the 20th ult at hie daughters re
aidence, in Guernsey county, John Pk.gott,
aged 77 years and 3 months. The deceased
resided lot about !0 years in the neighbor
hood of St, Ciairsville, He was a wortty
member ol the Society of Friends,
