We have private advices from our I'iku's Peak
friends, up to tho 17th inst. One eonipuny was

Death of Achilles Tuller.
Tuller, formerly a resident of Tiffin,
committed suicide, at Mt. Vernon Ind., ou the
13th iust., by blowing his brains out with pis
tol. Ho was the victim of his owu imagination
and was doubtless laboring under aberration of
mind at the time.

A man who resides in one of the townships of

cause at all. recently became enraced at a fine
horse owned by him, and ib dared he would put
