Last Saturday evening Hay Barrett was stoppbd by three men on First avenue. lie grappled with one of them who was holding a revolver in . his face and after a souffle they broke away. After they had left bim one of them shot at him, the bullet striking in the right leg above the knee. Drs, Xipple and Brown extracted the bullet which proved th be of 38 caliber. Mr, Barrett is resting well and his com plete recovery is only a question of a few days. Hotel Men Meet.
