Strahan was informed of it and he

finally got possession of the animal.
Kilpatrick then ient an agent to negoti

an agreement to pay Strahan 10D fo r

When the order was inentl for

had rescinded it hence the suit which
has just been derided in favor of Stra- i

court and the lujwrs as they were
turned over to the clerk of that court,

on to them, showing thai the value of i
the f 100 horse is rapidly appreciating.

The Aztec cattle company made a
shipment of cattle recently to Kaunas
city in the new Burton feeding and
watering cars-making the quickest live
stock run on record. The actual run
ning from Albuquerque to Kansas
City was forty-live hours on the 018
miles. Tho cars were liberally supplied
with water twice daily, from the railroad
tanks, consuming but four minutes to
the car, at each watering. Thev were
fed hay while the train was running at
full speed, and consumed CG.OOO pounds
of hay on the trip. The steers ate and
drank freely and layed down in the cars
and chewed their cuds contentedly. They
were taken through the entire distance
without unloading, and reached the
