Almost every man, woman and child
has a mania for fast riding, and for the
benefit of flying sight-seekers, we will
call attention to the fastest through train
in the I'nlted States. Leaving Philadel
phia by the Pennsylvania railroad, at
7:30 any morning, passengers ride over
line between the Centennial city
and Pitteburg, 354 miles, in ten hours.
This particular train is composed
of parlor cars, to arranged that the mag
nificent scenery on both sides ot the line
cannot be overlooked. The old, highly
cultivated ami rich agricultural Jistricts
east ot Harrisburg are extremely inter
eating to the traveler, w hilst the mouo
tain ranges, the Horse Shoe Curve, Kit-
tanning Point, the Conemaugh, the Al
legrippus and hundreds of churning va
ried views, may be enjoyed during day
light by taking the Limited Fast Ex
press. By this train the sleeping
cars are attached at Pittsburg,
and passengers arrive iu Chicago - the
following morning, many hours in ad-
vace of all other routes, aud necessitating
only one night's ride. No other IUil'
way on this continent can otter the in
ducemcnt of a lightning train from the
East. C. M. Clurk, at the general ticket
Office, 05 Clark street Chicago, will give
all information. Particular attention
given to letters of impilry.
