tramping outtlt. Again she stated, this
time with the intention of crossing tbe
plains to Calilornia, but finally stopped
when told by many persons that would
be very unsafe for her to think of aN
tempting it alone. She then started on
a re'uru trip, walking from Kansas City
to Chicago, tliencj to Detroit, doing
Niagara Falls, and crossing . to Canada,
thence to. 'ew York, and through
MattachusetU, arriving at ber horns in
Herman a little more than a week ago.
