The fact that a sewing machine had
been purcbsssd by some Indian was men

rather good-looking, aud who dresses in

the machine. At times the was accompa
nied by a dozen or more of her folks, who
wanted to see the machine work. Having
become proficient In its management, tbe
mschine was a day or two ago, taken to
her home. W"e suppose tbat she now will
