Thero Is a treat differ ence of opinion as to tha relative ineriU of the ilillerent hewing Machines now in the market. I have had a machine at my bouse for the paat two months. It W callod the FRANKLIN, and I really regard it as a neat and most excellent family Sewing Machtno, so simple in iu con struction that a very young person may under stand and work it at once, with no other Instruc tion than is contained In tho printed oircular which accompanies' it. It executes tha work evenly, does not drop stitches, and when IU thread shrinks in washing and draws up the material, tho elasticity of the stitch permits the material to be drawn straight without breaking the thread, and moreover, it secures its own work. I would suggest to any of your readers who may wixh to invest in a Sewing Machiuo, get tho Franklin by all mcuns. 11. COX. From Fred. W. Vogt, with Hoffman A Co., No, 75 Lake Street. Messrs. E.
