KOTICE TO CITY-SUBSCRIBERS.
Wishing to confine oar business as near as
possible to the CASH SYSTEM, we hae deter
mined hereafter to collect our subscriptions,
: within the city, QUARTERLY. To carry this
determination into effect, we have placed our
whole city list in the hands of Mr. WILLIAM
GILL, who will make the collections, and also
attend to the delivery of the Papers, and see
' that subscribers are served punctually. ' We
hope this arrangement will be satisfactory to
all parties. Those who may desire to save them
selves the necessity of making four payments
during the year, can, if they prefer it, pay in

Facts for the I'eoi-i.e. It was a noted
saying of the great Dr. Mauexdie, when lec
turing before his clap, care not a button
for theric; give me j'ueu." This is likewise
the motto of the celebrated Dr. IJbaoo, who,
by a careful observance of facts alone, has
been enabled to bring bis medical prepara
tions to such jh rfection. His latest inven
tion, the Arctic Liniment, is also his greatest
invention; and it may be stated as a "fact
for the people," that it is the best Liniment
now in existence, and destined to supeivede
all others. Another fact is, that it never fails
to cure thoe diseases for which it is recom
manded. The best evidence of the value of
a medicine is, tnat it effects a rnJiatl cure, and
this is eminently the case with the Arctic Liu
iinent. It cures Rheumatism, Neuralgia, Par
alysis, Sprains, Bruises, Burns, Scalds. &c,
and all eruptive diseases; and is equally elli
cacious in curing the diseases of animals, such
as spavin, ring-bone, poll-evil. Ac.
