Christie died March 25, 1800, at Prospect Lake, Mich., leaving a husband, ono daughter (Mrs. Frank McCon) and a niece (Miss EmmaBayles) who has lived with the family from childhood. For two years Mrs. Christie patiently endured almost unbearable sulfering, displaying at all times tho greatest fortitude. Tho funeral was held at the home, Monday, March 27, conducted by Rev. Rogers of Decatur. Tho burial was at Prospect Lake. Miss Rebecca Orr was born October 20, 1810, at Meredith, Delaware county, New York. 8ho came to Michigan with her parents in 1845, and was married to Mr. Charles E. Christie, February 28, 1801.
