day, to become citizens of Salem,
Va. Miss Stella remains for the
commencement at the Seminary.
Mr. and Mrs. Stras having both
been born and reared in Tazewcll,
had become so identified with this
place that their removal has made
a wide break. Particularly will t he
Methodist church experience their
loss, as Mr. Stras has so long man?
aged its Sunday School and exer?
cised the functions of steward and
<t her offices in the church. Vet Sa?
lem is to be congratulated on hav
ing added these good people to its
population. What to us is loss to

them, and commend them to good
fellowship whither they go.
