previous question, and it was
seconded. Tbe motion to re
commit waa rejected, and the

week's Sentinel, we copy tbe
following:

vicinity much excited over the
contemplated building of a
railroad leading Jrom Circle
ville through tbe Salt-creek
and Queer-creek fallyes con
necting with tbe GallipoiU
and McArlhur railroad, the
road bed of which is already
completed to what is known in
that region aa Karnes' Sugar
Grove, in Vinton county,
about 8 miles from tbe Village
of Bloomingvilie, in Hocking
county. We have no hesitancy
in saying should said road be
built that in a short time it
will be one of the best paying
roads in tbe State from tbe
fact, -in the way ot freight, it
passes through one of the be-t
Iron and Coal regions of tbe
State besides most valuable
timber, with tbe best quality
of building stone, vast quanti
ties of potters clay, and in fact
everything tending to make
railroad a profitable invest-
went to. tbe people along
tbe line, not only enhanciug
the value of property along its
line but making the terminus
