" The Scout " at the Theatre.
l>r. Frank Carver, the famous scout
and marksman, will appear at the Thea?
tre Friday night and at matinee and
evening performances on Saturday in his
play. "The Scout," which portrays life
as It exists on the western plains. The
exhibition will include a large band of
Sioux Indians, cow-boys whe* have seen
actual service, Mexicans, and frontiers?

Dr. Carver is the central character In
the drama, and is known as the "evil
spirit of the plains." A bridge scene,
which will be presented, is novel, and a

structure Is made impassable by Indians,
and when Dr. Carver, at break-neck
epetd, rides over it the timbers give
way, and his horse Is precipitated into
the waters below, while he saves him?
