Tt'fl so clad ?n feel that the Si. Louts

while Harris nnd Royce am) th" others
? are. examining strange things along the
Pike.
While Cowardln. Taylor nnd Maekretb
Aro phasing Mi" elusive Items, we are
hnppv In th" thought thnt We ran dangle
our tio. 7's In th" York Hlver nnd wdtl'll
thp breezes from Baltimore as they r-otne
down over the Bay Line route.
We lovp to nil on fh" hnnrd walk and
look at the prettv cIiIh In white stock?
ings an thev com" down from West Point
lo hear Mose Stein's orchestra play "The
Moon Shines Bright To-Night Upon the
Wabash" and "Bedella."
It reminds ns of the time when we had
ft large Income, nnd when we used to go
to olrl Coney and Luna Park.
But you don'l have to have much In?
come here. George Ouvernntor and Airs.
George are charming hosts at the Ter?
minal, and Perkins makes It Interesting
at the club; so why go off lo the moun?
tains and the sliore, when rlcht here even
our office hoy may pet his health bnck?
The muse of poetry comes to us ns the
breezes hlow our beautiful tow hair about,
and make us look like we are working
hard.
We love to bear the sweet and gentle
music,
Aa the frisky hobby horses start their
race;
?We love to hear the frogs In cadenco
soothing,
While tho winds from down the York
hlow in our face.
i
The cricket on the hearth is npt a
marker
To the katydid who sings from top of
tree;
If the brown-eyed girl were on the, board
walk.
How happy, oh! how happy, we would
be.
Or words to that effect.
We like this place because it Is so
close to home, and still so far away. And
?we have made tip our mind that we shall
spend our vacations here every summer,
We have Just opened our mall. After
, putting the bills on file we found a
communication from the office hoy, who
has been spending his vacation at Reser
'voir Park. , ,,-':- ?.':"?',
And we also received a letter from
; Maurice Schwartz, the cigar merchant
at the Lexington. Ho wants us to get
up a "wrastllng" match at Beach Park.
He says he Is the champion of the Lex?
ington Hotel, notwithstanding the fact
that Allen Straus has been putting up.
When Charles Relnecke comes down
here we will see him and try to get some?
thing for Maurice to do.

(Special to The Times-uispatch.)
CONCORD. N. H.. July 1L?The addi?
tion of a new by-law to the rules of
the Christian Science Church was an?
nounced yesterday. The by-law was pro?
mulgated at the request of Mrs. Mary
Baker G. Eddy, the founder of the de?
nomination, who has been subjected to
considerable annoyance by crowds of
Christian Scientists, who awaited' the
passing of her carriage. The by-law is
Section la ot Article. 21. and is headed:
"Thou shalt not steal." The test fol?
lows:
"Neither a Christian Scientist, his
student, or his patient not a member of
the mother church, shall dally and con?
tinuously haunt Mrs. Eddy's drive by
meeting her once or more every day
when she goes out, on a penalty of being
disciplined and dealt with Justly by her
Church. Mrs. Eddy objects to said In?
trusion. Inasmuch as she desires one
hofise for herself. And she, who for
forty years has 'borne the burden and
heat of the day,' should be allowed this.
The only exception to this by-larw Is on
public occasions, when she has the privi?
lege of seeing others and of being seen."
