All of these towns have had delegations in BiBmarck almost every day since the recent election created Grant county, and every aspirant for county seatship is represented at the hearing in progress this afternoon. To Name Board at Once. At the opening of the'hearing Gov ernor Hanna announced that be would make his appointments immediately, providing he is served before the close of the hearing with an official notice of the creation of Grant county. This had not been done up to noon today, the action probably awaiting the offi cial returns of the Morton county canvassing board. $1,813,072.27 835.72 75.000.00 15,000.00 1.000.00 91,000.00 2,000.00 fl9.S02.22 71,802.22 5,450.00 G,000.00 75,000.00 5,075.00 71^*21,684.71-' •515.17#. 20 .326,521.86 932.14 37,174.10 17,710.00 3,230.00 221,621.07 3,750.00 $:!,194,350.58 $ 100,000.00 100,000.00 50,990.30 75,000.00 1,206,953.21 80.00 1,350,685.00 85,947.87 1,123.35 16,074.17 2,056.75 f, 1 United States deposits ,, Postal savings deposits & Total demand deposits, items 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39 and 40 $2,662.!I20 ,15 TIME DEPOSITS: 205,239.87 $3,194 350.58 Correct—Attest: C. It is generally taken for granted among the towns seeking the county seat that the commissioners named this, afternoon will be selected partly because of their ability to agree upon some one town as the seat of govern ment. There is no positvie assurance that this will be, the case, however. Should each of tfjei (three commission ers named have his own choice for county seat, a deadlock would ensue, and- it is probable that the governor in his appointments will guard against such a contigency. Legislative Representation. There has been some uncertainty as to Grant county's representation in the Fifteenth asembly, and a question as to whether the new commissioners would be called upon to name a sena tor and member of the house. Cov entor Hanna advises that Grant coun ty wilt be considered for legislative purposes a part of the district for merly comprised by Morton county, and that it will be represnted in the next assembly by the legislators re cently elected from Morton county. The commisisoners will have no auth ority to name any state officers. Delegations in. Among the delegations present at the hearing this afternoon are the fol lowing: Elgin—P. D. Boettcher, R. X. The modem Pullman car contains everything essential to cleanliness and sanitation which the best experts upon these subjects have been able to devise. After every trip each car is thoroughly cleaned and at frequent intervals fumigated in accordance with state and federal standards. To accomplish this three hundred and eighty three cleaning stations, with over four thousand yard em ployes, are maintained in various cities. By such thorough and consistent effort every Pullman passenger receives the greatest possible pro tection from, the discomfort of dust and dirt usually associated with railway travel.
