CLAIM FOR 148 FURNISHES CASE A claim for $45, in which the costs already accrued many times exceed the amount demanded, reached su preme court this week via an appeal by the Great Northern Railroad Co., from a decision in the Ramsey county district court, awarding ft judgment against the appellant in favor of Her man Shark. The claim is for the value of goods alleged to have been lost in transit. The question involved is whether there applies in this case interstate com merce commission's ruling that claims of this nature must be filed within four months from loss of shipment, and whether such ruling can be made binding upon Hie shipper. Shark, who was successful in dis trict court, is represented by Siver Serumgard, North Dakota's blind at torney who four years ago was a can didate for congress on the Bull Moose ticket.
