Surrounding it is land as fertile as the valley of the Nile. Two miles away the historic range of Arbuckle mountains add beauty and enchantment. Springer has the finest school building in the county a magnificent two story brick structure and wagonettess running at the expense of the county haul free every day pupils for miles around.
