"IS ANY GIRL SAFE"
A CRY AGAINST VICE
The large audience that fought its way into the Mnxino
Elliott Theater last night to witness the sensational motion
picture, "Is Any Girl Safe?" was undoubtedly thrilled to
the core. Mothers departed with a prayer of gratefulness
that their daughters had escaped the lot which had dragged
others mother's daughters to the lowest depths this side of
Hades. What is done by Harriet Ward Bcccher's "Uncle
Tom's Cabin" in the way of exposing black slavery can be
duplicated by this picture in making the American public
wake up to tho plain ugly truth of white slavery. "Is Any
Girl Safe" is to white slavery what "Uncle Tom's Cabin"
was to black slavery.
