TULSA DATLY WORLD, SUNDAY. JULY 25, 1920
In The Oil Field
Work in the Oil country calls for
strong, rugged tools. Oil production is a
rough and ready business. Carried on mostly
under conditions which give little shelter from
rough weather, tools, equipment and men, must
be hardy, staunch and toughened to the job.
In every big industry, transmit
ting power is a vital factor and in Oil
production especially so. In drilling, pumping and com
pressing, there must be a never-ceasing, full flow of power.
The Oil country knows from long experience that the one
certain way to get such power is bv the use of 0 & G
Whether they have had to show their class by
matching the work of other belts or only to make a record
for themselves, 0 & G Inner-Locked Belts have always won
out. Stories of their great service are told wherever oil is
produced; of an 0 & G Belt that lay under water and mud during a ten
day flood, but which kept right on the job again as if nothing had hap
pened after the mud was scraped off; of another which ran two hundred
and sixty 24-hour days, with 17,000 pounds of cable and tools hanging on
the belt a mile below the surface and in each case without hitch or delay.
0 & G Inner-Locked Belts are intended for one particular
job; to do any and every kind of work, no matter how hard, which the
Oil industry has to be done. "They are built by men who know the game"
from the Oil man's side; who know that he wants greater power, longer
life, absence of troublesome stretching, and "come and go" instead of the
grief he often gets with other types.
Giving service which has never been equalled, satisfying
every crew they serve, always running uniform, in fact, giving the Oil
country one hundred per cent belting service; such is the clean-cut
record of 0 & G Inner-Locked Belts.
