The coach is built for the special pur pose for which it is used and is a com plete traveling residence. They stop at such stations as they choose aud as long as hey like, and when they desire to move on nre hitched to a passenger train and taken to any point tlicy wish, where they sidetrack as long as they wish. Minutes of last meeting read and ap proved. On motion the ta.\ levy for the year ]8s2 was made as follows: County fund 4 mill.-: roads and bridges 4 mills, sinking fund 2.'.. mills interest fund l}.i mills, and county clerk to carry same on tax list. The petition of Henry Grillin and otli ers received, and the road supervisor in structed to view same and report amount of work necessary to improve highway petitioned for. The resignation of J. W. Goodrich re ceived and laid over until next meeting. The bonds of \V. L5. and T. M. N«w land, for liquor license received and ap- proved and license granted. Also John A. Reed, bond for license, received and license granted, both having paid the '-sum of fifty (aO) dollars in to the county treasurer. License was granted until Dec. 31, 15*2. On motion the county surveyor was authorized to make plaus and spccifica lions for bridge on road crossing James river near Heaver creek. Hoard adjourned until to-morrow eve at 7 o'clock. GEO. W.
