A SLIGHT DIFFERENCE,
But It Means Everything to Thoie In
Reader, bave you ever drank from an
undented mountain brook, coming from
adjacent snow lands, without recognizing
tbe change in sensation aud satisfaction
on returning to your dose of hydrant
water? The freshness and purity of bev
erages bave the same relation to the
palate aud health as has the atmosphere
breathed to the olfactory nerves and
blood. The one is refreshing and all
satisfying; the other is the exact oppo
site and increases one's craving. From
just these conditions has grown the im
mense popularity ol the beer manufac
tured by Maier & Zobelein of this city.
It is always fresh, absolutely pure, and
a borne product of ihe merit.

Thos. Offord Found to be Buffering From
Tbos. Offord was brought before
Jndge Van Dyke yesterday on a charge
of insanity, but it took Drs. Wernigk
and Cole only an instant to see that it
was a case of severe sickness instead of
lunacy. The young man is foreman in
the Germain Fruit company, and has
been atlin.; for abont a week. He lives
at a lodging house on South Main street
just south of the cathedral, and yester
day morning became violently delirions.
It took six men to hold him in lied,
and not knowing what waa the matter
police officers had bim taken to the
county jail as insane. His condition ia
tbe court room was painful. He shook
as if with ague, and appeared oblivious
of everything and everybody. The am
bulance was summoned and Mr. Offord
was taken to tbe county hospital for
Wall Vaper at Cost.
