Nuuanu clouds wept
When from fullness of years
Our good chieftain slept
She poured down her tears
Then thunder rolled wheels
In the clouds oer the hearse
And drowned with loud peals
The parsons last verse
Nuuanu now weeps
Full of tears to the Brine
For the Princess who sleeps
Is the last of her line
Though her sweet voice is hushed
Still loiters her fame
Who never once blushed
At the sound of her name
