of S12 20 for each 2100000 worth of
bonds called in
The Treasury Agent explains that

waii the system in general use is to
reckon interest by the imnth The
Act providing for the redumption of
the bonds was passed March 3 and
interest could have been stopped
then Instead howover the stop
page of interest was not made until
May 1 and Mr MacLenuan is there
fore of tho opinion that bondholders
arc well off in receiving this addi
tional interest
