Borioua strike waB on at Waialun
plantation and that violences was

a large squard of mounted

gather and proceeded in a special
train to the ccsno Captaina Parker
and Kanae were in ahargp
Arriving at Waialua the police
found that the Japanese wore hold
ing a meeting in the pumppuse
They wore ordered out and held the
meoMng on I ho lawn About 1000
workmen were present After a
great deal of talk they deoided to
refer their grievances to the head

As soon or this decision was
reaohed the Japanese retired for the
night Everything quieting down
Captain Parker left a few police

It fs said that the trouble is all
being caused by walking delegates
of the same stamp as visited Ewa
and Waipahu plantations last year

leaving here for their former field
of labor in Oregon
