A decision was handed down today
hy the supreme court reversing the
Umrth circuit court in the case of
llalani vs. Alapai. The case was of a
Zoreclocurc of mortgage in the territory
of the third circuit and it was
JbeW that the fourth Judge had no
Jnrisdfction. The supreme court holds
as follows: "Under our statutes, a
.suit may be brought in one circuit for
Xhe foreclosure of a mortgage of land
staafd in another circuit."

his recent visit o the South Sea Islands
and Australian Colonies, and

to all the fruits in those Islands and
Colonies. Notice is hereby given by
the Commissioner of Agriculture and
Forestry that the importation, of fruits
from the South Sea Islands and Australian
Colonies is strictly forbidden.
