June Buchanan. Mrs. Buchanan
accompanied her home.
Fred Garnctt, who is acting agent

There seems to bo lots of inter
est here in tho sale of the late W. F.
Traylor, which will tako place on
tho 3. "th of this month. Tho East
Knd will bo well represented there.
By the way this will bo ono of the
largest sales every held in Lincoln
county.
As yet, wo are unablo to givo
names of tho rumored marriages of
ono of our "Slatcsvillo" girls, which
was mentioned in our last letter.
However things aro progressing nieo
ly nnd will probably givo an account
of same in our Christmas letter.

that thero will soon be a store erect
ed in New Crab Orchard, also a
planing mill nnd possibly a flour
mill. This togethor with tho con
creto sidewalk and new hotel is
causing our "Slatesvflle people to
pat on city airs and appear "up-pish."
