THEY CAN DO IT FREE

SomA of tho country people who

frightened away for fear they will bo

tho tax recently imposed on dairymen
for running their milk wagons
Mayor Yeiser has received several
complaints from farmers and statPd
I want you to state in your paper
that tho farmers do not havo tb pay a
license for bringing in their milk and
butter and tho impression created by
some one I know not who that they
do is erroneous The tax imposed on
dairymen is for running wagons only
and the farmer who does not run reg
ularly is not subject to the wagon tax
I do this in justice to the country pea
plo who have been wrongly impressed
It ia understood that several dairy
men started this erroneous report and
frightened the farmers np but tho
truth of qua has not been corroborated
