THE MOROTNa TIMES, MONDAY, MARCH 29,' 1897.
THIS MBAUTY OF CHARITY.
father Glojd DIkoussch It at St.
rntrleliV Clwireli.
Rev. Father Gloyd preached. in instructive
sermon yesterday at 11 o'clock mass at St.
Patrick's Church. The subject was the
"Multiplication or the Loaves,'' and the
discourse was an illustration ot the beauty
of charity, as taught' by the example of
Christ.
Christian benpricence. Father Gloyd said,
is a strict obligation, and without charity
to our fellow-beings we cannot expect or
liope for salvation. In tjie strict sense of
the word, we own nothing here on earth,
all belongs to God. lie i sole proprietor.
He called us and all things else into exist
ence, md only permits us to use them
in order that we may aid our fellow-men.
