sheep commissioners at their meeting
this week R circular letter Is being sent
to sheep men throughout the state no
tifying tem that cases of Bcbiu
among flocks ot sheep must be reported
promptly to the office of the state
board under penalty ot prosecution for
not doing so
The letter says the chief trouble nas
ben encountered In the case of the
small far and ranch bunches of sheep
several cases of Infection having been
discovered among such flocks Most
of the sheep men of the state I Is saId
have been aiding the board as much as
possible In this direction realizing that
I was to the benefit of their flocks that
there should be none of the tment
among the sheep In their vicinity
The board found It nECEssry recently
to prosecute one sheep owner WIt ot
the city and there Is a probabiity ot
one or two more prosecutions The
board has prosecuted about thirty cases
for violation of the state law and lug

prosecutions had been dropped
The dispatch in yesterdays HeraldRe
publican stating that requisition papers
had been issued for the two men mdi
cates however that Anderson will come
for them
The men are wanted in connection with
the exploiting of banana and orange
lands in Vera Cruz Mexico Suits against
these two men are now on file In the
Third district court here

ray for the accidental discharge of a
gun hel I by McHenry The shooting
occurred on July 17 1907 at Murray
McDonald left the gun and a pair of
field glasses with MeHenry for sat
keeping tellIng him the gun was load
eti When McDonald returned MeHen
ry hansled the parcel to him carelessly
and the gun fell to the ground explod
ing when It etruck The bullet went
through McDonalds leg He brought
suit for 30000 against MeHenry but
the jury yesterday decided he as en
titled to only 1 290

by the throat and made serious threats
against her She says he has thrown
her out of the house on several wca
sions She wants temporary alimony
now permanent alimony with her Li
orce and an order to restrain her litic
band from disposing of any of lila pro
