Chop one half of a pound of suet and work until j creamy, using the hands. Add to first mixture, and when thoroughly mixed, add one half of a grated nutmeg, three fourths of teaspoonful of cinnamon, one third of a teaspoonful of cloves, one third of a teaspoon ful of mace eild one and one half teaspoonfuls of salt; then add the whites of five eggs, beaten until stiff.
